That's how he does it down here!!

U'all being in the north, it was simple how he got around in the winter, but Santa uses public transportation to deliver our presents to us in Orlando.

The Parks' have arrived...

Jane & Randy Park from Virgil, NY drove in December 14th while we were at Polynesian Isles for two weeks. They made it a day early so they stayed the short night. A couple of beers and the hot tub to celebrate their five week vacation from CNY weather. Their daughter, Amanda, flies into Orlando tomorrow.

Westgate Resort Villas..

Moved on November 30th to the Villas at Westgate instead of the Town Center. They are alittle more quieter and private. Spent one week in a one bedroom and the second in a two bedroom. The building were side by side so it was a short walk to more and our "boy"s liked the extra room. Tennis court, basketball court and heated pool were were just out the back.

Roaming around...

Went out to Wild Florida Air Boat & Wildlife Experience for the day. Enjoyed the boat ride and the park but couldn't take a gator home.

Welcome committee for the Parks....

Drove up to Clermont, FL to check out with Jane, Randy & Amanda Park from Virgil area would be staying for five weeks of winter recess. The home and street had many great blue "red headed" hering that refused to move for you {car} and you just waited. Typical southerns!

Resting the "Brave"

Pulled into Grand Villas Resort in Kissimmee, FL on November 11th for a two weeks stay. A little more room to relax for "our gang" than the coach (Brave). All the activities are close by as you can see.

Movin' a little bit west..

Moved over to Inverness, FL on November 9th to visit with Boyd & Judie Chamberlin for the week ...but...they were in North Carolina doing their thing. Parked at Riverside RV Resort for the week and it was very quiet by the river except for Wild Bill's air boat cruises and Linda's execution of the "Q" ball!

Course correction....

Finally heading south on November 4th, we arrived in Ocala, FL with the pictured weather forecast. Not bad for the winter season. Found time to visit and play golf with Jim & Gloria Aylesworth formerly from Homer & Cortland.

Heading North????????

Yes, heading north to Sanford, NC on October 30 to visit with Charlane Huff, her mother Mae and good friend Jim Williams. Spent the long week-end with them catching up on the past year. On the way, we passed the former used nascar racetrack, Rockingham Speedway.

Tom & Mary live on Lake Norman in South Carolina with their pet dog. As you can see, a beautiful view. For you old, old timers from Monach, Bill Carr is also lives on the lake.

Visiting friend(s)....

Arrived in Rock Hill, SC on October 29th to visit with former neighbors, Tom & Mary Eisele. Tom, a Monarch Machine Tool serviceman was out on a call out of state so we spent a lot of time with Mary and her dog.

On the road again.......

We start our trip on October 26 to the sunny and warm south somewhere. First stop was Front Royal, VA and then on to Hillsville, VA for two nights. Thank God for Direct TV as the resort didn't have cell service or local TV service. They had a phone booth outside the office!!
