Back home again....

Arrived home tuesday afternoon, April 9th from Destin Florida in a slow five days of driving. Had a great time of sunshine warm weather for most of the time. Met many new friends as well as alot of friends and family visiting during the winter. So where is the good weather???? I know, this is CNY, July is coming

Thought we ought to put something on the blog for our faithful viewers. Our older computer (the one we always used to do the blog) died. We are unable to get to our pictures with our newer computer. Don't know why. So no more pictures at this point. We are spending a week with son Brian, Jess and Kolbe on the gulf coast in Destin, FL. We leave to head home tomorrow, April 5th so our 2012-2013 winter trip will end. Hopefully we will be able to fix the picture problem by the fall and our next trip south. Thanks for being our follower.

A good day finally

Florida's largest winery near Clermont. The storage vats and more tanks and vineyards close by. The bottling process of the good stuff and finally the last operation, the sampling! Yes, it got blurry...

This is what we've been doing

Went to the Citrus Tower in Clermont but it was closed for maintenance. Stop to tour the House of Presidents in Clermont but they charged $19.95 each. Did view Mount Rushmore outside the museum as it was free. Thought about ice cream but to close to dinner....and diet!!!! Then we stopped here.

March 4th --- Happy Birthday to me

Had a great birthday on Monday playing golf at Palisades Golf Club near Clermont with John in the mirror and Carol Simon Oh yah, don't ask the girls about wearing rain pants on a sunny day in florida. It wasn't pretty with us golfing in shorts.

Two weeks here..

Currently at Bee's RV Resort in the "Brave" near Clermont, FL for two weeks of relaxing and quiet time. Temps dropped a bit this week but I blame that on John & Carol Simon of Homer who flew in last thursday.

We're back....and....on the road again.

Yes, we are alive and well after seven weeks "off the road" at Cypress Point in [Buena Vista] Orlando Florida. Quests included former Cortlandlite Charlane Huff and Sanford's [NC] Jim Williams for a week during the PGA show downtown. Also staying at the same resort the week after was Waldon Oaks CC Pro, Marcus Bernado with Dom and little Mike Fanacone and Alan Seamans. All from the Cortland area. Neighbors from Little York, came up from Stuart, FL to stay for a short week. The golfing boys from above were replaced by the pool loving girls of Cathy Bernado, Jackie Steedle, Kim Record, Robin Canale and Lora Cohenno. Then they were replaced except for Cathy by the returning Marcus and the kids, Sam and Mario, for another two weeks. We were not left out as daughter Traci, fiance BJ Edwards and our grandson, Austin came down from Amesbury [Boston] MA for the last week. Yes, pictures were taken but my life was threatened. Sorry.... On Sunday, after seven weeks, someone and her friends were not happy about leaving for the other life of retirement.
