We are in the city of San Antonio at the the Alamo. The monument lists the names of 186 men that sacrificed their lives fighting for Texas independence. The fall of the Alamo was March 6, 1836, 175 years ago. The Alamo original called Mission San Antonio De Valero was built in 1817.
