A deadly tornado ripped through Rayne Saturday morning leaving one person dead and twelve residents injured. The tornado packed winds of up to 135 mph and cut a path of destruction five miles long through the town. One woman was killed when a tree fell on her house as she tried to protect her 15-month-old son. The town is starting to stack debris on the ball field. Fields around the town show the amount of water that is that fell Saturday.
